And then never use any of the information to deliver a custom product demo specific to the customer's use case.

They just go through the standard generic demo flow. It's awful and it kills new business opportunities.

Here's how to put this template to work for you to turn more leads into paying customers.

1. Review all tabs in the worksheet to familiarize yourself with the content.
2. Analyze the product demo example. This utilizes the tell, show, tell demo methodology. In short, you tell the prospect the problem your product/feature solves, you show them how it solves the problem, then you tell them the results it delivers. Lastly, you give your sales reps real customer examples in the far right column to tell to prospects.
3. Copy the blank template and populate the information custom to your products and features.
4. Get buy-in from your sales leadership team and reps. Also, get buy-in from marketing leadership, so they feel good about the company and product positioning.
5. Schedule trainings and certifications to ensure everyone on your sales team is trained for peak performance.
