My name is Ian Frameworks. Well, that's not my real name, but it's what you can call me while you're here. I'll tell you why I don't share my real name at the bottom of this page.
Today, I’m the VP of Sales and Marketing at a product-led, B2B SaaS software company that has raised over $30 million in venture capital.
I have experience building go-to-market teams and processes that have helped us scale our business from $2 million to $18 million in annual recurring revenue.
What I do is a lot of fun and I’ve got a great team to work with along the way.
But let’s face it, growing a business is hard. Setting the right strategy is hard. Hiring the right people is hard. Managing those people is hard. It’s all hard!
10 years ago, I started as an investment banking analyst. The first 3 years of my career I focused on technology mergers and acquisitions. Companies doing $25 - $250 million in revenue who were looking to be acquired would hire our investment bank to advise them on their company valuation and help them find the highest bidder.
This time in finance provided me with a foundation for understanding how to analyze and position companies, but left me wanting to learn how to build and operate a business. More specifically, a high growth B2B SaaS business.
While learning to operate a business, what helped me most were the frameworks and templates I designed to standardize repeatable processes that delivered successful outcomes.
So, I want to share them with you.
My goal is for this website to serve as the resources that I always wanted while growing go-to-market functions. I'm still doing it today. That's my full time job. This is an enjoyable side project for me. The process of sharing my ideas actually helps me review and refine my own operating frameworks.
I try to publish content that I wish I had when I first started. I had no idea what to do the first time I was asked to build a sales forecast and a plan to hit revenue goals. This will hopefully give you a head start.

The frameworks and templates you will use here will not do your job for you. You still need to commit the time and apply critical thinking to apply them to your business and team. However, it will give you a major head start.
There's no need to waste time trying to reinvent the wheel.
These frameworks were developed from 10 years of practice so far, research, and by talking to other business operators with more experience than me. They have worked well for me personally. They have accelerated my career path, and have helped me grow my income year over year to provide for my family.
So, I'm glad you read this far.
Now, I don't share my real name because I still have a full-time job as an executive at our venture-backed, B2B SaaS company. I don't want this side project to distract from my day-to-day responsibilities.
